Aadhi Kesava Perumal Temple, Kadukkaloor, Kanchipuram
Aadhi Kesava Perumal Temple is dedicated to Hindu God Vishnu located at Kadukkaloor Village near Choonambedu in Kanchipuram district of Tamilnadu. Presiding Deity is called as Aadhi Kesava Perumal and Mother is called as Ambujavalli.






This is a 400 year old very beautiful temple and well maintained. The temple tank is very huge with full of water is located adjacent to the Temple. Vimanam is called as Aadhi Vimanam. Many priests of Thirupathi temple are from this place.





The Temple
Presiding Deity is called as Aadhi Kesava Perumal and Mother is called as Ambujavalli. This a very beautiful temple with gigantic Aadhikesava Perumal with Thayar decorated up to the level. Sanctum sanctorum was big and beautiful.





Inside the prakaram false ceiling, 12 rashis has been painted beautifully. Animals are carved on the false ceiling (Tortoise, Snake, Monkey, elephant etc.,) Temple tank also very huge and full of water. Uthsava murthis of Garudan, Anjaneyar, Horse, and Elephant are very nice.

Connectivity
There are two ways to reach Kadukkaloor. While coming from Chennai, this is about 10 kms on the right side (west) of Kadappakkam on the ECR, after Midway restaurant and ECR-Inn restaurant; before the road to Alamparai fort. This place is well connected as all the buses from Chennai to Pondicherry will make a stop at Kadappakkam. Kadappakkam is located at distance of 70 Kms from Chennai. Autos are available in Kadappakkam to reach this Temple.
There are certain private buses taking old Chennai Pondicherry Route via Madurantakam, Choonambedu, & Marakkanam. Get down at Choonambedu and this place is approximately located at distance of 8 kms from Choonambedu.
