Thiruneermalai Dhivya Desam – The Temple
Thiruneermalai Dhivya Desam is one among the 108 Divya Desams of Perumal. There are two temples, one at the top of the hill and other in the foothills. In all, the temple occupies an area of 15 acres (6.1 ha). The temple rituals are conducted as per Vaikanasa Agamam and two times Pooja is performed. Sthala Vriksham is Neem Tree. In this Dhivya Desam, Lord Vishnu can be seen in four postures i.e Standing (Nindra), Sitting (Iruntha), Sleeping (Kidantha) and Walking (Nadantha) Postures (Thirukolams).










Lord graces the devotees in four different positions as below;
·        Neer Vanna Perumal - Nindra Thirukolam (Standing).
·        Narasimhar - Irundha Thirukolam (Sitting).
·        Ranganathar - Kidantha Thirukolam (Sleeping).
·        Thiruvikrama (Ulagalantha Perumal) - Nadantha Thirukolam (Walking).

Food Offerings:
The Prasadam (food offering) offered in this temple are Puliyodharai (Tamarind Rice), Dhadhyonam (Curd Rice), Pongal, Chakkarai Pongal, Vada, Adhirasam and Murukku.
