Law's Falls is a tourist spot in CoonoorThe Nilgiris, Tamilnadu. The Place is a beautiful picnic spot, situated at Coonoor-Mettupalayam Road at the distance of 7 km from Coonoor. The height of the falls is about 180 feet. There are vast stretches of undisturbed sholas and it is a paradise for Naturalists.
It is located at a distance of 7 kms from Coonoor (on the road way to Mettupalayam) & 26 Kms from Ooty, the beautiful Law's falls is set inside the Coonoor forest range with vast stretches of undisturbed nature around.



Laws Falls is a famous waterfall situated on the Coonoor River where it meets the Mettupalayam Ghat Road. It is named after a man named Col. Law, who constructed the Coonoor Ghat Road. The Laws falls is an attraction that can be visited by all. Families as well as tourists come here to enjoy the beauty of the falls and the surrounding natural beauty.
The landscape here is extremely rocky and often wild. This makes it an ideal choice for nature enthusiasts and adventure seekers. Photographers also find this a good site to capture some wonderful snaps of the nature.

Laws falls is easily accessible by road. The best time to visit the falls is after rains and before winter.
 



The nearest rail head and airport to the Law’s fall is at Coimbatore, at a distance of 44 kilometers. Law’s fall come under the Coonoor Forest Range. September to May is the ideal time to visit the Law’s fall. The Law’s fall is created by the River Coonoor.
