Palar Lower Falls,
Kodaikanal
Palar Lower Falls are located in the
Dindigul district of the south Indian state of Tamil Nadu. They are popularly
known as ‘Lower Falls’. Palar Falls descend down the rocks from a height of 103
meters. It is difficult to reach this cascade, as it does not have easy accessibility.
The source of these falls is the River Palar.
It is 103 metres (338 ft) high,
on Palar stream 5.5 km southeast of Palar Reservoir and 1.7 km
downstream north from Ganesha Puram village, per 1974 survey map.

(17 mi) from Kodaikanal), in the Vilpatti Range. It is a Spectacular waterfalls with dangerous
currents. This stream originates in Kodaikanal
Lake.
