Prayers

Generally, this temple is suggested for worship for those born under the star Avittam as Lord Brahma attained wisdom on Avittam star day in the month of Aavani. It is advised that Avittam star people should visit this temple on Avittam star day or birthday or on the Avittam star day falling in the month of Avani (August-September) and follow a step by step pradakshina to release themselves from their planetary effects and to break the obstacles in their marriage and child birth.

As there are lines in foot too similar to fingers, it is advised that the step by step pradakshina should be done by pressing the feet so that the prints should be recorded in the temple soil.  Devotees pray here for the education of their children, business development, family unity and mental peace.  It is believed that praying the twin Nandhis in the temple with a garland made of cashew and groundnut would fetch expected results to the devotee. Unmarried girls offer Vishnu Durga a garland of turmeric sticks for getting good alliances.
