Kaleeswara Swamy Temple, Cheettanancheri,
Chengalpet, Kanchipuram
Kaleeswara Swamy Temple is dedicated to Hindu God Shiva located in
Cheettanancheri at a distance of 7 kms North-west of Orakkattupettai near
Chengalpet in Kanchipuram District of Tamilnadu. This Temple is fairly a big
temple with beautiful sculptures. Presiding deity is called as Kaleeswara Swamy
and Mother is called as Sivakamasundari Ambal.
Both
Swamy and Ambal are facing the same direction in separate shrine in a marriage
posture. So this temple is a good place to worship for marriage wishes. The
temple tank and the whole temple as a whole are beautiful. This Temple is
located at a distance of 10 kms from Chengalpet to the south of Palar River.
