Sowmiya Dhamodhara Perumal Temple, Natham Parameswara Mangalam, Kanchipuram

Sowmiya Dhamodhara Perumal Temple, Natham Parameswara Mangalam, Kanchipuram
Sowmiya Dhamodhara Perumal Temple is dedicated to Hindu God Vishnu located at Natham Parameswara Mangalam in Kanchipuram District of Tamilnadu. Presiding deity is called as Sowmiya Dhamodhara Perumal and Mothers are called as Sri Vasthu Lakshmi and Bhoomi Devi. This Temple is located on the way to the Kailasanathar temple and the Kumbabishegam took place along with the Kailasanathar temple in Feb 2013.

This is a new temple with ancient deities and inscriptions. The Perumal and the Thaayars were housed in a thatched shed for so long and a proper temple has been constructed now. A very rare Urchava idol had been found during renovation which is now kept in the Archaeological museum. It is considered that all Vasthu related problems will get solved by worshipping the Perumal and Thaayars here.

The temple is about 80 kms from Chennai. On the ECR if one proceeds five kilometres from Kalpakkam, you can reach the Vayalur Bridge. About a km from the Vayalur bridge is a junction called Kaathan Kadai. Turn right at this junction and proceed towards Anaicuttu Salai. In Anaicuttu Salai you will see a board which directs you towards Natham Parameswaramangalam.
