Aramvalartha
Eswarar Temple is dedicated to Hindu God Shiva located at Anaikattu Village
near Maduranthakam in Kanchipuram District of Tamilnadu. Presiding Deity is
called as Aramvalartha Eswarar and Mother is called as Aram Valartha Nayagi.
Both Lord and Mother are facing east. It houses possibly the biggest
Nandikeswarar in Chennai surroundings.

Goshta Idols typical to Shiva Temples are located in this Temple. Murugan
Sannithi is located between Moolavar and Ambal Sannithi representing Somaskanda
form. Idols of Vanadurgai and Jyestha Devi idols are located in this Temple.
Temple
pond is called as Selva Vinayagar Kulam. One Kaala Pooja is conducted in this
temple without fail. This Temple is more than 1000 years old. Pradosha Poojas
are very special in this Temple. This place is Parihara Sthalam for Marriages.

Connectivity
At about
1.2 kms after the end of the Palar river bridge, take the right (west) ward
deviation towards Maduranthakam for another 5 kms to reach Anaikattu. To reach
Anaikattu from Chengalpet, Take Bus No 188 D, 100 D and 100 C. To reach
Anaikattu from Maduranthakam, Take Bus No T 10.
