Sri Velli Eswarar Temple is dedicated to Hindu God Shiva located at Meyyur village near Sadras in Kanchipuram District of Tamilnadu. It is a Ragu Kethu Parihara Sthalam. This Temple is located at a distance of 2 Kms from Kalpakkam. Presiding deity is a Swayambu Linga called as Velli Eswarar and Mother is called as Vedhambikai.  Kamandala Sidhar worshipped Shiva at this place.


This place is Raagu Kethu Parihara Sthalam. People worship here to get rid of marriage obstacles and for children. Abishekam is done to Nadarajar of this temple for six times in a year. Thala Vriksham is Arasa Maram. Single Kaala Pooja is being done in this Temple.


Sadras is a fortress town located on India's Coromandel Coast in Kanchipuram District, 70 km south of Chennai in Tamilnadu state. Sadras is the anglicized form of the ancient town of Saduranga pattinam. Sadras can be reached by taking buses 108, 118, KVR from Chennai to Kalpakkam.
