Kalyana Venkatesa Perumal Temple, Thenneri, Kanchipuram
Kalyana Venkatesa Perumal is dedicated to Hindu God Vishnu located at Thenneri Village in Kanchipuram District of Tamilnadu. There are three temples in this village, two Siva Temples and this Perumal temple. The Siva temples are maintained by Archaeological Survey of India. Thenneri is about 8 Kms from Walajabad of Kanchipuram District. 



Presiding Deity is called as Kalyana Venkatesa Perumal Moolavar is with his consorts Sridevi and Bhoodevi. Presiding is formerly known as Vijaya Narayana Perumal. As per the inscriptions this temple was built in the year 1250 A.D. There are idols of Mahalakshmi Thayar, Varahar, Bhadra Kali placed in a corner of the temple.


Regular pujas are conducted in this Temple. Many Urchavams are celebrated in this temple namely, Vaikunda Ekadasi, Karthikai Deepam, Purattasi Saturday. Kanchi Varadhar used to visit here on the day of `Theppa Urchavam. This festival is celebrated here in a grand manner.
