Kali Temple, Keezh Sengalmedu, Ariyalur

Kali Temple in Keezh Sengalmedu Village near Gangai Konda Cholapuram in Ariyalur District houses idols of Durga, Kali, Bhairavar and Bhairavi from Kalinga, present day Orissa brought by Rajendra Chola I during 11th Century AD on his Northern India Expeditions. These Idols are an excellent masterpiece of Kalinga Artworks.
