Veera Anjaneya Temple is dedicated to Hindu God Hanuman located at Kalambur Village in Thiruvannamalai District of Tamilnadu. The temple is situated in Kalambur which is on the way to Arani from Polur. The idol of Veera Anjaneyar is 23 feet in height and in Anjali Hastha pose (folding hands).

Legends
Years back, a monkey died of electrocution in Kalambur Bazaar. It was a Vaikunda Ekadasi day. One Narayanasami found the monkey, buried it with due respect and built a temple for Sri Anjaneya. In the days followed, devotees made a 23 feet tall Sri Veera Anjaneya. Pujas are performed here too.
The Temple
The idol of Veera Anjaneyar is 23 feet in height and in Anjali Hastha pose (folding hands). There is a Samadhi of a monkey that died of electrocution in front of the sanctum.  First puja is performed to this monkey before pujas to presiding and procession deities.

Temple Opening Time
The temple is open from 8.00 a.m. to 9.00 a.m. and from 6.00 p.m. to 8.00 p.m.
Festivals
5 day Chithirai Mahalakshmi lighting festival in April-May, Purattasi Saturdays in September-October, Margazhi Hanuman Jayanthi and Vaikunda Ekadasi in December-January are the festivals celebrated in the temple.
Prayers
Electricians pray for safety during their work, safety in houses from short circuits etc.  People also pray for education, prosperity, trade development, longevity, child boon, job opportunities and removal of obstacles in wedding proposals. Devotees offer garlands made of Vada a popular preparation of Tamilnadu, betel leaves and lime fruits.
Silk weavers around Arani offer their first produce to Sri Anjaneya for development of their occupation without hindrance and getting a fair price for their products. Quarry workers and sculptors pray by placing their tools at his feet before beginning their work. They believe that there would be no accidents in places of their work. Sculptors believe that their idols would have a fine and beautiful finish.
