Aadhi Narayana Perumal Temple is dedicated to Hindu God Vishnu located at Cheranmahadevi in Thirunelveli District of Tamilnadu.
Legends
Brugu Muni and Markandeya had darshan of Lord Vishnu and were blessed by him.
The Temple
Presiding Deity is Sri Aadhi Narayana Perumal with Sridevi and Bhoodevi in standing posture. The temple has two praharams and a 3 tier Raja Gopuram. Other deities seen in the temple are Sri Lakshmi Narasimhar, Krishna, Sri Ramar, Anjaneyar, Manavala Mamunigal, and twelve Azhwars. Vimanam is Ashtanga Vimanam.

The Temple remains open from 7.30 AM to 11 AM and 5.30 PM to 7 PM.

Aadhi Narayana Perumal Temple is located at Cheranmahadevi in Thirunelveli District of Tamilnadu. Cheranmahadevi is located at about 50 Kms from Tenkasi, 17 Kms from Ambasamudram, 6 Kms from Veeravanallur, 30 Kms from Thirunelveli, 190 Kms from Madurai & 155 Kms from Thiruvananthapuram. Buses are available every 15 minutes from Thirunelveli to Cheranmahadevi.
The temple is 30 kms from Nambi Divyadesam at Thiru Kurungudi and 20 kms from Kulasekara Azhwar Rajagopalaswamy temple in Mannarkoil (Ambai). Nearest Railway Station is located at Cheranmahadevi and Nearest Airport is located at Madurai and Thiruvananthapuram.
