Abishta Varadaraja Perumal Temple is a Hindu Temple dedicated to Lord Vishnu located at Thiruthuraipoondi in Thiruvarur District of Tamilnadu. Presiding Deity is called as Abishta Varadarajar. Urchavar is Srinivasan – Padmavathy. Mothers are Bhoodevi and Neeladevi. Sthala Vriksham is Vilwa.

The temple is open from 6.00 a.m, to 11.30 a.m. and 4.00 p.m. to 8.00 p.m.
Festivals
Every new moon day is a festive day in the temple when tokens are issued to devotees for performing the outer skin covered (not stripped) coconut worship in Sri Anjaneya shrine. Beginning with abishek at 6.00 a.m. archanas are performed to Sri Anjaneya till 6.00 p.m. on the day.

Connectivity
The temple is located within the Thiruthuraipoondi town. The Temple is located at about 30 Kms from Mannargudi, 30 Kms from Thiruvarur, 41 Kms from Nagapattinam and 121 Kms from Trichy.  Thiruthuraipoondi is connected with bus routes from Thanjavur new bus stand, Tiruvarur and Kumbakonam. Town bus facilities are available to the temple from Thiruthuraipoondi new bus stand. Auto facility is also available. The temple is located at about 1 Km from the Thiruthuraipoondi bus stand and Thiruthuraipoondi Railway Station. Nearest Airport is located at Trichy.
