Wax
Museum is situated at Baywatch Amusement Park in Kanyakumari. It is the first
Wax Museum in India and opened for visitors on 24th December 2005. Wax museum
stuns you with its wax figures of the Indian history as well as the world
history. The museum houses all the important figures of the Indian History as
well as the world history in wax form. The wax figures are realistic and the
Wax Museum is reminiscent of its famous counterpart in London. The accuracy of
the wax figures is taken very much in consideration that the wax statues looks
like an original personality.
A kind
of Madame Tussaud’s, the wax statues in this museum include acclaimed personalities
like Dr. Manmohan Singh, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Amitabh Bachchan, Michael
Jackson, Shahrukh Khan, Rajnikanth, Jackie Chan and many others. This museum is
located next to the Stella Maris Institute of Development Studies. The 3-D
paintings make the display of wax statues quite interesting.
Visit Timings: 8:00 AM - 6:30 PM, Except Sunday all days of
the week
