Peyazhwar Shrine is a Hindu Temple dedicated to Vaishnavite Azhwar, Peyazhwar in Triplicane in Chennai City of Tamilnadu. As per Hindu legend, Pey Azhwar was found in the lily flower in the pond of the Adi Kesava Perumal Temple in Mylapore. In Tamil, pey refers to one who is possessed and since the saint was madly attracted to Hindu god Vishnu, he got the name. The Peyazhwar Temple, which is the sub-temple to the Parthasarathy Temple in Triplicane, Chennai. This Shrine is situated just opposite the main entrance of Sri Parthasarathy Temple.

Triplicane (Tiruvallikeni) is an important division in Chennai city. Triplicane is located at about 1.5 Kms from Marina Beach, 6 Kms from Nungambakkam, 6 Kms from T Nagar, 10 Kms from Anna Nagar and 8.5 Kms from Vadapalani.
