District of Tamil Nadu. Presiding Deity is called as Saptha Rishiswarar and Mother

Athri, Bharadwaja, Gowthama, Vasishta, Valmiki and Agasthya) worshipped Lord
Shiva here. Hence Lord is called as Saptha Rishiswarar.

Temple
There is no Rajagopuram for
this Temple. The Temple is facing east. Presiding Deity is called as Saptha
Rishiswarar. He is facing east. Mother is called as Abitha Gujambal and is
facing south. There are shrines for Vinayaga, Saptha Mathas, Ayyanar, Kali and
Lord Murugan with his consorts Valli & Deivanai in the Temple premises.
