Saptha Rishiswarar Temple is a Hindu Temple dedicated to Lord Shiva located at Odugathur Village in Vellore District of Tamil Nadu. Presiding Deity is called as Saptha Rishiswarar and Mother is called as Abitha Gujambal. Saint Arunagirinathar had sung about Lord Murugan of this Temple is his Thirupugazh Hymns.

Legends
Saptha Rishis (Kashyapa, Athri, Bharadwaja, Gowthama, Vasishta, Valmiki and Agasthya) worshipped Lord Shiva here. Hence Lord is called as Saptha Rishiswarar.

History
The Temple is believed to be built during 11th Century AD.

The Temple
There is no Rajagopuram for this Temple. The Temple is facing east. Presiding Deity is called as Saptha Rishiswarar. He is facing east. Mother is called as Abitha Gujambal and is facing south. There are shrines for Vinayaga, Saptha Mathas, Ayyanar, Kali and Lord Murugan with his consorts Valli & Deivanai in the Temple premises.

The Temple is located at about 17 Kms from Valathoor Railway Station, 37 Kms from Vellore, 41 Kms from Ambur, 48 Kms from Vaniyambadi and 168 Kms from Chennai Airport. The Temple is situated on Krishnagiri Trunk Road.
