Chinna Sadai Amman Temple is a Hindu Temple dedicated to Goddess Sakthi located at Pudupet, well-known locality near Egmore in Chennai City in Tamil Nadu. This Chinna Sadai Amman temple is situated before Ranganathar Temple on the banks of river Koovam. The area where the Komaleeswarar Temple located is known as Komaleeswaranpet but commonly called as Pudupet.



This Chinna Sadai Amman is one of the 5 Sadai Amman temples built around Egmore. Other Sadai Amman Temples are;

The Temple
This temple is facing east between residential flats, with stucco images of Simhas (Lions) on both side of the entrance. The Rajagopuram is of 3 tiers. The temple was constructed with sanctum and a Mandapam. Presiding Deity is called as Chinna Sadai Amman. She is seen along with Renuka Parameshwari. She is in sitting posture and head of Amman is at the base. This is one of the Raghu & Kethu Parikara Sthalam since above Amman’s head a two headed hood of Nagar is there. A Sri Chakkaram Yantram is installed under the feet of Amman. 


Vaishnavi, Bhuvaneswari and Vishnu Durga are the niche idols located around the sanctum walls. Shrines of Siva Naga, Vishnu Naga, Poo Naga can be found in the outer prakaram. There is a Saptha Kanniamars Panel, situated in the northwest corner of the outer prakaram. Kanni Amman is seated on a lion and can be seen at the center of Saptha Kanniamars Panel. Utsava Idols are located in the Mandapam in the Temple premises. Shrines of Vinayagar, Narthana, Vinayagar, Bala Murugan, Naga Lingam can be found in the temple premises.

The temple remains open from 06.00 AM to 11.00 AM and 05.00 PM to 09.00 PM.
Festivals
Aadi month’s last Sunday annual festival is being celebrated.
Prayers
People worship Chinna Sadai Amman to get rid of Raghu Kethu Dhosham, and ailments related to eye & skin, issues like child birth etc. The procedure adopted for getting the wishes fulfilled is, devotees used to roll coconut around the sanctum 21, 54, 108 times.
