Presiding Deity is called as Valeeswarar / Kapaleeswarar and Mother is called
as Aram Valartha Nayaki / Dharmasamvardhini / Araperunselvi. The Temple is
considered as Thevara Vaippu Sthalam as Devaram hymns had a mention about this
Temple. This
Temple is one of the ancient temples in Kongu Nadu. The Temple is
believed to be built during 12th Century AD. This temple is attached
to the Sri Venkatesa Perumal Temple and comes under the Tamil Nadu HR & CE
Department Control.
