Jayamkonda Soleeswarar Temple is a Hindu Temple dedicated to Lord Shiva located in Nemam Village in Tirupattur Taluk in Sivaganga District of Tamilnadu. Presiding Deity is called as Jayamkonda Soleeswarar / Jayamkondeswarar and Mother is called as Soundaryanayaki. The Temple is considered as Thevara Vaippu Sthalam as Devaram hymns had a mention about this Temple. This Temple is considered as one of the nine temples of Chettinad Nagarathar Community.

History
The Temple is believed to be around 1500 years old. While most of the Nagarathar temples were originally built by Pandya Kings, this temple was built by Cholas but extensively renovated by Pandya King Varaguna Pandiyan.

The Temple remains open from 06.00 AM to 12.00 Noon and 04.00 PM to 08.00 PM.
Festivals
Shivarathri and Pradoshams are celebrated in this Temple with much pomp and glory.
Prayers
The belief here is that to succeed in one's prayers, after taking bath in the Chola Theertham in front of the temple, garlands must be offered in seven shrines in this temple – Lord Shiva, Mother, Vinayakar, Bhairavar, Utsavar, Kalyana Sundarar and Nandi.  Once the desire is fulfilled, Abhishekam must be performed for both the Lord and the Ambal. People pray here for child boon, Job, getting relief from marriage obstacles, educational excellence and getting relief from obstacles in business.

The Temple is located at about 3 Kms from Kundrakudi, 7 Kms from Pillaiyarpatti, 15 Kms from Karaikudi, 15 Kms from Tirupattur, 15 Kms from Kanadukathan (Chettinad) Railway Station, 51 Kms from Sivaganga and 89 Kms from Madurai Airport. The Temple is situated on Karaikudi to Tirupattur Route.
