Parswanathar Jain Temple, Parikalpattu, Thiruvannamalai
Parswanathar Jain Temple is a Jain Temple dedicated to Jain Thirthankar Parswanathar located at Parikalpattu Village in Thiruvannamalai District of Tamilnadu. Parikalpattu is located at about 8 Kms from Chetpet. The Temple is a beautiful, compact and economic structure. The Jinalaya has east entranceway with open corridor wall-enclosure. Shri Parswanathar stone carving is placed in a gallery on the top of the entry.





A black marble made Shri Parswanathar with seven headed snake established on the Garbhagriha plinth. It is crowned by simple Vimana with four Thirthankar statues on each direction. The Arthamandapam consists of Metal idols of Shri Parswanathar and Shri Dharanendrar Yaksha, Shri Padmavathy Yakshi on either side of platforms. The chamber is secured tightly by doors.





A small pavilion and a Mugamandapam with six pillars are also there. In the corridor, an Altar and a Dwajasthambam is also located. All Jain rituals and temple poojas are conducted regularly in the well maintained Jinalaya. Contact: +91 9489953939.




The Temple is located at about 8 Kms from Chetpet, 34 Kms from Arani, 52 Kms from Thiruvannamalai and 38 Kms from Vandavasi. Nearest Railway Station is located at Arani and Nearest Airport is located at Chennai.
