Nataraja Temple, Chidambaram – Halls (Sabhas)
The temple has many halls called Sabhas (lit. "community gathering", also called Ambalams or Sabhais) inside the complex. Two of these are the Chit Sabha and the Kanaka Sabha inside the sanctum area of the Nataraja shrine. The other halls are outside the sanctum area.
