Varadaraja Perumal Temple,

Varadaraja Perumal Temple is a Hindu Temple dedicated to Lord Vishnu, located in Kannanur Village near Thirumayam Town in Thirumayam Taluk in Pudukottai District of Tamil Nadu, India. The Temple is believed to be built by the Later Pandyas.
The Temple
The Temple is facing towards east and in dilapidated state. Garuda can be seen facing towards the sanctum. The Temple consists of sanctum and ardha mandapam. The sanctum enshrines an image of Varadaraja Perumal in standing posture. He is flanked by his consorts Sridevi and Bhoodevi. Inscription dated to Kulasekara Pandyan can be found in the temple.
