Ranganathaswamy Temple, Srirangam – Seventh Enclosure (Kaliyuga Raman Thiruveedhi)

Ranganathaswamy Temple, Srirangam – Seventh Enclosure (Kaliyuga Raman Thiruveedhi)
The gopurams of the seventh enclosure have been left incomplete and are called Rayagopuram. The impressive dimensions of their bases seem to suggest, that when finished, the towers would have risen to a height of at least 50 m. It is considered as Bhuloka.

When you enter the temple through Rajagopuram on the southern side, you can enter this enclosure. It is also called as Kaliyugaraman Thiruveedhi.

There is a small temple of Andal in the south-west corner of the 7th enclosure. This temple is built in the Chola style. This enclosure is also called Chitra Street and buzzes with a row of shops and offices.
