Yoga
Narasimha Swamy Temple is a Hindu Temple dedicated to Lord Vishnu located at Chintalavadi
Village in Krishnarayapuram Taluk in Karur District of Tamilnadu. The Temple is situated between
Trichy and Karur at the banks of River Kaveri. Presiding Deity, Yoga Narasimha
Swamy is considered as the family deity for thousands of Madhwa community all
over India.

The
Temple
The temple is situated in a
serene environment with lot of greenery around. A Canal taking water from River
Kaveri flows through the backyard of the temple. Presiding Deity is called as Yoga
Narasimha Swamy. He is housed in the sanctum. Yoga Narasimha is the
family deity for thousands of Madhwas all over India and abroad. There is also
an idol of Gopala Krishna can be found inside the sanctum.
There is a shrine for Madhwa
to the left of sanctum. It was believed that the idol was installed by
Vyasaraja. There are excellent facilities available around the temple for a
comfortable stay and for performing Sevas. There is also Venkataramana Temple
in the village with Rayaru (Sri Raghavendra Swamy) Mrithika Brindavanam.
