The Temple is located at about
2 Kms from Mahadanapuram Railway Station, 3 Kms from Lalapet Railway Station, 3
Kms from Lalapet Bus Stop, 9 Kms from Mayanur, 13 Kms from Kulithalai Railway
Station, 30 Kms from Karur, 51 Kms from Trichy Junction Railway Station, 53 Kms
from Trichy and 56 Kms from Trichy Airport.
Though the temple is located
on the Trichy to Karur Highway, Bus transportation is limited and time based.
If going by bus, get down at Lalapet and avail the local bus facility to reach
temple. It is better to choose private transportation to visit this temple. One
can hire a Taxi for round trip from Trichy station. Alternatively, one can
reach Kulithalai by bus and then take any town bus which stops at Chintalavadi.
From Kulithalai one can take
town bus or hire a taxi/Auto. The first bus is at 7am and the last one at 10 pm
with a frequency of 45 minutes. Some express buses going to Karur also stop on
request. Devotees from Chennai can come by Rock Fort express and get down
at Trichy or can come by Mangalore Express and get down at Kulithalai. Then
take the local buses or trains to reach this place. Nearest Airport is located
at Trichy.
