Temple "Sri Lakshmi Narashimha Swamy" an Avathaar of lord Vishnu and
Someshwara Swamy dedicated to Hindu Deity Shiva.
The
festival of the Narashimha Swamy Thirukovil will be celebrated by the nearby
all the villages in and around Nangavalli. Draupathi amman festival is also
celebrated in the month of April–May every year. In this festival a live demo
of Mahabharata’s fight will be organized.
This is
the only place where the event conducted lively in Tamilnadu. From Nangavalli
water flows by gravity (without pump) to Salem (Nangavalli to Salem
-36 km).This system was constructed and Inaugurated by British people
before independence.
