Kubera Lingeswarar Temple,
Thirukazhukundram, Chengalpattu
Kubera Lingeswarar Temple is a
Hindu Temple dedicated to Lord Shiva located in Thirukazhukundram, an outskirt
of Chennai City in Chengalpattu District of Tamil Nadu. Presiding Deity is called
as Kubera Lingeswarar and Mother is called as Kubera Valli. The Temple is
situated at about 1 Km from Vedagiriswarar Temple.

Presiding Deity is called as
Kubera Lingeswarar. He is housed in the sanctum in the form of Lingam. Mother
is called as Kubera Valli. She is housed in a separate shrine. The specialty of this Temple is, Head of the
Nandhi in this Temple will be facing the Shiva in the Hill Temple instead of
facing the Shiva in this Temple. The reason is there is no Nandhi available in
Hill Top Thirukalukundram Shiva Temple. There is also a very rare Sarabeswarar Shrine
present in this Temple.
