Sacred Heart Church is located at Pudupet, well-known

History
As per our records the Church was established in the
year 1848 and the first Parish Priest was Rev Fr Jerome from Portugal. The
Parish is famous for Sacred Heart devotion started by Fr. A.J. Adaikalam in the
year 1954. On 8th September 2005 the present Archbishop, Most Rev Dr
AM Chinnappa issued a decree elevating this Parish as a Shrine of the Archdiocese.
