Lady Canning's Seat is a View Point, located in Dolphin Nose View Point road near Coonoor Town in picturesque Nilgiris Hills near
Ooty Hill Station in Coonoor Taluk of Nilgiris District of Tamilnadu. It is a major tourist spot
in Coonoor.
The site is named after the spouse of the British Viceroy, Charlotte
Canning. It gives the beautiful view of the surrounding valleys and the
mountains. The view point offers a fabulous view of valley overlooking the
Mettupalayam-Coonoor highway. The view point is mostly covered by thick fog and
hence one needs to be lucky to get a good view of the landscape.

and 79 Kms from Coimbatore Airport. It is also situated near to the Echo rock (Lamb's
Rock), from there you can reach easily to this spot. This view point is located
on the Dolphin Nose view point road. Private
