Kulumayee Amman Temple is a Hindu Temple dedicated to powerful local deity located near Uyyakondan in Trichy District of Tamilnadu. Kulumayee Amman is a village deity mainly for Vellala community people. The temple is located amidst calm forest and waterfalls nearby. During festival seasons, the place is crowded; even hundreds of goats/sheep get sacrificed. However, it is a secluded place and only few people visit the site on normal days. It is advisable not to visit the site in the late evening or alone.







The temple as such is very small with just one idol of the Goddess. The idol is a big red stone idol; the Goddess looks very furious. She is considered as the guardian deity against cholera, cattle plague and epidemics. The Temple is located at about 800 meters from Dheeran Nagar Bus Stop, 3 Kms from Uyyakondan Thirumalai, 6 Kms from Woraiyur, 3 Kms from Trichy Central Bus Stand, 7 Kms from Chatram Bus Stand and 9 Kms from Trichy. Nearest Railway Station is located at Trichy (3 Kms) and Nearest Airport is located at Trichy (9 Kms).
