Valley View Point is a tourist
spot in Ooty Hill Station in Nilgiris District of Tamilnadu. It
is situated on
the Ooty - Coonoor Route. It has views over the Ketti valley. Ketti
valley is sometimes referred to as the Switzerland of Southern India for
its pleasant weather all through the year. The valley extends from
the Mysore plateau to
the Coimbatore plains and
is one of the largest valleys in the world.
Valley View Point is located at about 7 Kms from Ooty, 5 Kms from Ooty Bus
Stand, 7 Kms from Ooty Railway Station, 14 Kms from Coonoor, 31 Kms from Kotagiri,
46 Kms from Mettupalayam Railway Station, 79 Kms from Coimbatore and 83 Kms
from Coimbatore Airport. Ooty is well connected to Coimbatore, Kerala and
Karnataka. It
is located on the Ooty Coonoor road (NH 67).
