Kameshwaran Temple is a Hindu Temple dedicated to Lord Shiva, located in Mogappair near Anna Nagar in Chennai City of Tamil Nadu. This Temple is one of the rarest temple found in India. The Idol of Lord Shiva has 5 faces on each direction with a face on top. This temple is constructed based on the advice given by Kanchi Shankaracharya. The Linga or the Idol was brought from the holy city of Kasi. Presiding Deity is called as Kameshwaran and Mother is called as Kameshwari. There are shrines for Vinayaga, Bhairava, Sai Baba, Lord Rama, Durga and Hanuman in the Temple premises.
