This
Temple is considered as Parihara Sthalam for Shukra
Doshams. Lord Shiva in the sanctum sanctorum is with Bhairava power. Those
afflicted with black magic and spells will be relieved of the evils if they
worship in the temple. Lord offers mental peace to devotees and release from
sins of the past birth. There will be no worries about children under
adverse planetary situations. Any obstacle in the undertakings of the
devotees would disappear.
Building plans will go off
without problems as this is the place where Vasthu Sastra was
born. As planet Shukra – Venus was relieved of his curse here, no
obstacle would occur in marriage talks. Devotees arrange abishek to Lord and
Mother with turmeric and cosmetic powder, panchamirtham, milk, curd, green
coconut, sacred ash-Vibhuti, sandal, rose water and offer vastras. Those

Mother Vishnu Durga with her

efforts. Rahukala puja lamps on lime cups are offered in the shrine
on Tuesdays (between 3.00-4.30 p.m.), on Fridays (between 10.30-12.00 a.m.) and
Sundays between 4.30-6.00 p.m. There is a wish tree in the compound
having Naga, a snake representation. Childless
couple pray for the attaining child by placing or installing the stone symbols
praying Vakrakaali.
