Kadapakkam Lighthouse,

Kadapakkam Lighthouse is a modern light house, located in Kadapakkam Village near Edaikazhinadu Town in Cheyyur Taluk in Chengalpattu District of Tamil Nadu. The Lighthouse is about 100 feet tall. The lighthouse provides safe passage for the 30 fishing hamlets in this region. It also provides safe navigation for mariners. It is considered as the 24th lighthouse in Tamil Nadu on the East Coast stretch from Pulicat to Kovilthottam and the 186th lighthouse commissioned by the Directorate General of Lighthouses and Lightships (DGLL) inventory.
