Gauthameswarar Temple, Kanchipuram
Gauthameswarar
Temple is dedicated to Hindu God Shiva located at Kanchipuram Town in
Kanchipuram District of Tamilnadu. Presiding Deity is called as Gauthameswarar.
The Gauthameswarar was worshipped by sage Gauthama. This is found under an
Ashwatha tree beside the Uthiramerur road. People are taking steps to construct
a temple.
