Bala Subramanya Swamy Temple, Pakasalai, Thiruvallur
Bala
Subramanya Swamy Temple is a Hindu Temple dedicated to Lord Murugan located at
Pakasalai Village in Thiruvallur District of Tamilnadu. There are several
temples in Tamil Nadu where Lord Muruga is found alone, without his consorts
Valli and Deivanai. Only in few temples he stands as Brahma
Sastha. This is one of the temple where Lord Murugan graces
devotees in Brahma Sastha form. Mostly in Thondai Nadu region, this form of Lord Murugan is quite famous. This is attested by the fact that this form of Murugan can be seen in Ayanavaram, Thiruvottriyur, Vayalanallur, Poondi and Manavur etc. Brahma Sastha
form of Murugan in this temple is one of the most beautiful of them.
