Eka Pushpa Priya Nathar Swamy Temple is a Hindu Temple dedicated to Lord Shiva located at Thiruthiyamalai Village in Musiri Taluk in Trichy District of Tamilnadu. Presiding Deity is called as Eka Pushpa Priya Nathar and Mother is called as Mathru Karunambika / Thaayinum Nallal / Surul Kuzhal Nayagi. Thiruthiyamalai is also called as Thiru Desa Malai.

The Temple is situated on a small hillock and looks like a fort. The temple is maintained well. The Girivalam route is about a km long and the worship procedure being to go through the Girivalam first and then worship God and Goddess. Presiding Deity is called as Eka Pushpa Priya Nathar. Lord is Swayambu Moorthy in this Temple. This is probably only one temple in Tamil nadu, where the Dwarapalakas in Shiva sanctum have the “Netri kann” (third eye) in the forehead, which is the symbol of Lord Shiva himself.
Mother is called as Mathru Karunambika / Thaayinum Nallal / Surul Kuzhal Nayagi. The Goddess is having a beautiful name of Thaayinum Nallal meaning more caring than mother and so protects people from all bad habits and sins. Mother looks slender and soft. Lord Murugan of this Temple is in Shatru Samhara Kolam. There is a shrine for Kasi Viswanathar and Visalakshi inside the temple.
Sculpture of Uma Maheswarar (Shiva and Parvathi together) is also seen. Shrines of Mahalakshmi, Chandikeswarar, Bhairavar and Suryan can also be seen in the Temple. Navagraham is also seen inside the temple complex. Theertham is Kodi Pushpa Aadhi Mahamaha Theertham Sunai (Water spring).

This temple has only one Kala Puja. The Temple is open from 10.00 AM to 12.00 Noon.

The temple worship benefits womanhood, especially those wanting a good marriage and those who suffer after marriage come here with a basket of raw rice flour and draw Kolams around the Girivalam route and on the rocks, worship the God and Goddess to get all their problems solved. Those affected with bad habits like smoking, drinking etc. can pray here, perform Girivalam and offer Sambar rice as annadhanam to poor people. Regular worship here gets one out of all the bad habits

The Temple is located at about 800 meters from Thiruthiyamalai Bus Stop, 5 Kms from Moovanur, 6 Kms from Thandalaiputhur, 10 Kms from Thiruthalaiyur, 11 Kms from Gunaseelam, 17 Kms from Musiri, 23 Kms from Thuraiyur, 16 Kms from Thiruvellarai, 13 Kms from Thiruppainjeeli, 22 Kms from Manachanallur, 14 Kms from Elamanur Railway Station, 24 Kms from Kulithalai Railway Station, 28 Kms from Srirangam, 36 Kms from Trichy and 39 Kms from Trichy Airport.
Buses going from Trichy to Musiri via Thandalaiputhur go through this place. Trichy – Mannachanallur – Thiruthiyamalai – Thandalaiputhur – Musiri is the route. Please note that there is another straight route to Musiri from Trichy. Better option is to go to Musiri and get bus from there at “Kaikatti” bus stop as frequency of buses from Musiri is more. Nearest Railway Station is located at Elamanur and Kulithalai. Nearest Airport is located at Trichy.
