Vairava Eswarar Temple, Adambakkam, Chennai
Vairava Eswarar Temple is a Hindu Temple dedicated to
Lord Shiva located at Adambakkam in Chennai City in Tamil Nadu. Presiding Deity
is not Lingam as Lord Shiva is usually represented. He is represented in Idol
form with Vel. Top of the Sanctum is left open to sky inside the Mandapam.
Nandhi can be found facing the sanctum. There is a shrine for Vallarasu
Vinayagar located outside the temple.
