The Temple
The temple is a rare temple, dedicated to Hayagriva. The east facing temple has a small 3-tiered Rajagopuram. The Flagstaff, Balipeedam and Garuda shrine are found facing towards the sanctum. The sanctum enshrines Lakshmi Hayagriva. Every shrine in this temple has two idols – Moolavar and Utsavar.

On the right-hand side of the temple, one of the deities of the temple is placed on a pallakku (carriage) and puja is performed every day, with Brahmins chanting Vishnu Sahasranamam. Later, the deity is taken around Nanganallur, in a procession.
