Mela
Palli is a Mosque located at Athikkadai village in Thiruvarur District of Tamilnadu. It is centrally located by Mannargudi (South) – Kudavasal
(North), Thiruvarur (East) and Thanjavur(West). Athikkadai Muslims began to
rule in Tamilnadu in 1692. In the era of King Nawab and Serfoji
II, Athikkadai emerged as a residential village. Its name
may be derived from the tree name “Haathi” and the density of the tree “Kaadu”.
Over time "Haati Kaadu" became Athikkadai.

is located at about 6 Kms from Koothanallur, 16 Kms from Mannargudi, 14 Kms
from Needamangalam, 16 Kms from Kudavasal, 19 Kms from Thiruvarur, 47 Kms from
