Chaitra Poornima Festival:

Poornima Festival is celebrated on the Full moon day in the month of May.
Vaikasi Visagam:
10-day
Vaikasi Visakam festival in May–June culminating by a Thoni Ezhunellathu (Boat
Festival) in May–June. The crowd will exceed ten thousands. During these
festival days, the Goddess will be taken in procession both in the morning and
evening. During Aaraatu the eastern door is opened. On the ninth day,
the Thoni Ezhunellathu takes place. Goddess will be taken round the
water on the western part in a boat beautifully decorated.
Navarathri:
10 day
Navarathri festival in the Tamil month of Purattasi (September-October). The
music artists get opportunity to offer their artistic skill to the Devi by
performing in the Navarathri Mandapam. During the Navaratri festival,
an image of the deity is place at Navaratri Mandapam for worship and procession
takes place on each day of the festival. The festival concludes with the
destruction of Banasura, a demon on the day of Vijaya Dasami. The destruction
of Banasura is enacted on Vijaya Dasami, the concluding day of the Navaratri
festival, where an image of the deity is taken in procession on a horse mount
to a nearby village - Mahadanapuram.

Kalambaham Festival:
The idol
is smeared in Sandal paste in the last Friday of the month of Karkidaka or
Aadi, in July–August. The Kalabham
festival popularly known as Sandal festival. The presiding deity of the
temple is covered(decorated) with Sandal paste and on the 13th day (last
Friday) of the Tamil month Aadi (Karkkidakam), Goddess Kumari Amman will be
decorated with various flowers in a grand manner.
