Anna Kamakshi Amman Temple, Srirangam, Trichy
Anna Kamakshi Amman Temple is a Hindu Temple dedicated to Goddess Parvathy located in Srirangam in Trichy District of Tamilnadu. It is one of the historical and legendary temples in Srirangam. The temple came into prominence in the middle of the final decade of the previous millennium and was quoted and rated highly by his holiness Late Chandrasekara swamigal of Kanchi Mutt. The presiding deity is Anna Kamakshi Amman, considered by many as a replica of Akilandeswari Amman.
The temple also has separate shrines for Dhakshinamoorthy, Mahalakshmi, Durgai Amman, Navagrahas and a tree devoted to serpentine god.
