Amma
Mandapam is a Bathing Ghat located in holy town of Srirangam near Trichy City
in Trichy District of Tamilnadu. Devotees visiting Ranganatha Swamy Temple will
take bath in Amma Mandapam and enjoy the pleasant and cool Cauvery river. You
will find water during monsoon only. Rest all month there will be either no or
less water. Many people perform last rites for their ancestors in this place.
Usually, public perform the rituals on the Amma Mandapam bathing Ghat after
taking a dip in the Cauvery.
