Jaya Kailasanathar Temple is a Hindu Temple dedicated to
Lord Shiva located at TV Puthur Village in Virudhachalam Taluk in Cuddalore
District of Tamilnadu. This Village is called as Therku Vadakku Puthur shortly
as TV Puthur. This Village houses ancient Shiva and Vishnu temples. Both the
Temple are in dilapidated condition. The Temple covers an area of about 0.5
Acres. Presiding Deity is called as Jaya Kailasanathar and is facing east. Lord
Vinayaga and Lord Murugan can be seen at the entrance of the sanctum.
The Temple is situated on Jayamkondan to Virudhachalam
Route on the southern banks of Vellaru River. The Temple is located at about 10
Kms from Virudhachalam, 12 Kms from Pennadam, 12 Kms from Srimushnam, 13 Kms
from Virudhachalam Railway Station, 28 Kms from Thittagudi, 30 Kms from Jayamkondan,
47 Kms from Cuddalore and 135 Kms from Trichy Airport.
