The huge temple complex of Kanchipuram
Ekambaranathar Temple consists of lot shrines and idols. There are
shrines for Pralaya Katha Amman, Kazharsinga Nayanar, Lingams, Utsavar, Pancha
Mukha Vinayaga, Sahasra Lingam, Maavadi Kandhar, Elavarkuzhali Amman and
Navagrahas can be found in the second prakaram. Nataraja Sabha housing Nataraja
with his consort Shivagami, can be found in the northern side of the second
prakaram. Also, Palliayarai can be found in the second prakaram.
There are shrines for Balachandra
Ganapathy, Spadika Lingam, Pralaya Lingam, Naalvar, Sekkizhar, Santhana
Kuravarkal, Kasi Viswanathar, Santhana Ganapathy, Sowbagya Ganapathy,
Sakthi Ganapathy, 1008 Lingams, Naaga Lingam, Arumugam, 108 Lingam,
Markandeswarar, Mathala Maatheswarar, Kalla Kambar, 63 Nayanmars bronze Idols, and
Nilathunda Perumal Shrine can be found in the inner prakaram surrounding the
sanctum.
63 Nayanmars Shrine can be found
in the inner prakaram surrounding the sanctum. There are old mural paintings of
63 Nayanmars above their respective idols. Paintings may be 300 years old.
Idols of Ayyadigal Nayanmar, Sakkiya Nayanmar, Thiru Kurippu Thonda Nayanmar
can be found in the premises. The fourth courtyard contains a small Ganesha
temple and a pond. The third courtyard contains lot of smaller shrines.
Vigada
Chakkara Vinayagar Shrine:
Vigada Chakkara Vinayagar Shrine is situated in thousand
pillared Hall of Kanchipuram
Ekambaranathar Temple.
Sahasralingam
Shrine:
Sahasralingam Shrine is situated in the north western
corner of second prakaram of Kanchipuram
Ekambaranathar Temple. It houses a Linga with 1008 Lingas carved on
it.

Lingas Shrine:
108 Lingas Shrine is situated in the northern side of
the inner courtyard of Kanchipuram
Ekambaranathar Temple.
Nagalingeswarar
Shrine:
Nagalingeswarar Shrine is located inside Kanchipuram
Ekambaranathar Temple. This Shrine is also called as Nagalingesam.
This shrine is situated very close to Lord Arumugar Shrine located in the inner
prakaram surrounding the sanctum.
Pralayam
Katha Eswarar Shrine:
Pralayam Katha Eswarar Shrine is located inside Kanchipuram
Ekambaranathar Temple. This shrine is situated very close to Naalvar
Shrine located in the inner prakaram surrounding the sanctum.
Viswanathar
Shrine:
Viswanathar Shrine is located inside Kanchipuram
Ekambaranathar Temple. This shrine is situated next to Pralayam
Katha Eswarar Shrine located in the inner prakaram surrounding the sanctum.
This Shrine is also called as Viswanatham. This Lingam is a Spadiga Lingam.
