Dhamodhara
Perumal Temple is dedicated to Hindu God Vishnu located at Damal Village in
Kanchipuram District of Tamilnadu. Damal in located in Bangalore highway after
Kancheepuram entrance. Presiding Deity is called as Sri Damodara Perumal and
Thaayaar is Thirumaal Azhagi. The Temple is well maintained with a garden and
clean surroundings.
Devotees
belonging to this place have taken efforts to support the Temple and
Samprokshanam for the fully renovated temple was done a few years back. This Temple
is located little inside the Damal village. Damal is located at a distance of 3.5
kms from Thiruputkuzhi / Baalu Chatram. There are 3 ancient temples here and
are visible from the national highway itself.
