Thiruvengadamudaiyan
Temple is also known as Srinivasa Perumal Temple. This Temple is located at Solaikavundanpatti
Village in Virudhunagar District in Tamilnadu. Presiding Deity is Srinivasa
Perumal with Sridevi and Bhoodevi. This Temple is almost 500 years old. Lord is
also called as Namperumal.

deity Thiruvengadamudaiyan, also praised as Sri Srinivasaperumal graces the
devotees with his consorts Sridevi and Bhoodevi in standing form facing
east. Lord Yoga Narasimha, Hanuman, Nammalvar, Tirumangai Alwar, Sri
Ramanuja, Sri Vedanta Desikan, and Chakkarathalwar the deity of Lord Vishnu’s
discus, Garuda the eagle vehicle of Lord Vishnu are around the presiding
deity. Lord is also called as Namperumal.
On the
corridor side are Lord Vinayaka, Sri Mahalakshmi, Sri Durga and Lord Lakshmi
Narasimha. The significance of the temple is in its zodiac circle with the
Lords of the Rasis in the respective square. Even those not knowing
their Rasi and birth star perform Archanas to the Lord for remedy from any
adverse effects caused by any Rasi.
All the
Navagrahas (9 planets) grace the devotees in a sitting form with their Devis.

Lord
Namperumal comes in procession during the 9 days of Navarathri in September – October.
Chithirai first day (April – May), Srirama Navami in March – April, Gokhulashtami
in August – September, Tirukarthikai in November – December, all monthly Ekadesis
(11th day either from new moon or full moon days), Margazhi special pujas in
November – December and all days attached to Sri Vaishnava importance are
festival days in the temple.
