Vennimalai
Subramanyaswamy Temple is a famous hillock temple situated at Kamaraj Nagar,
Pavoorchatram in Thirunelveli District of Tamilnadu. This temple is devoted to
Lord Murugan who is worshipped as Subramanya Swamy. Lord Murugan graces to his
devotees along with his consorts Valli and Devasena here. V.Arumuga Nadar and
A.Muthammal donated funds for the construction of Entrance Arch. Narathar, Lord
Murugan along with Goddesses Valli and Devasena and sage are found at this
arch.
This
arch was unveiled by Thanavel, the then Collector of Thirunelveli, on 1.3.1999.
