Bhavana Maharishi Temple,

Bhavana Maharishi Temple is a
Hindu Temple dedicated to Bhavana Maharishi located in Aduthurai Town in
Thiruvidaimarudur Taluk in Thanjavur District of Tamil Nadu. This temple is
built in the North Indian style. Bhavana Maharishi is considered as the
successor to Markandeya Maharishi. Bhavana Maharishi is the community god
of the Padmasaliyar
community. It is situated in the middle of Krishnan Koil street in Aduthurai. Maha Shivarathri festival
is celebrated in a grand manner for 10 days every year.
